CTM Application proposal
There is a possibility of founding a network of partners for the participation in the Commission’s program for the development of an On-line European computerized network for Engineering Management and Validation of Corrosion Test raw data “CORrosion Network Information System” (“CORNIS”).
The objective of this project would be to create a European computer network for corrosion where all partners of corrosion tests laboratories could centralize their data to a corrosion information database server system either on-line (via modems) or off-line (disk data transfer);
The benefits for the users are: retrieval of test conditions ( specimens and test results), raw data validations, data elaboration and analysis, model simulation (modeling), comparisons with other users tests results and microstructure images (images database), retrieval of publications on corrosion, corrosion technology transfer etc. On-line access to the system would permit also data input, multi-combined queries, data search and data reports.
