How do I register?

Click on Sign up and fill in all the information concerning you and a short curriculum vitae,, with you photo eventually. This information will be displayed in a popup menu eachtime readers of your article will click on the link [Author] together with the article statistics

How can I add an article?

Login into your account and

• Click on [Enter a story] or
• Click on the left menu link item [My stories management]
  You will then go to your stories management page. At the lower page menu check the checkbox you wish to work out and click on the button [Submit]

In both cases a full editor is then displayed where you may even type your story either as text or in a html form. You can select then the topic, category, enter your article text as txt format or html, post max. 5 photos, and a video clip. Also you can fill in a website address relative to the article (this is obligatory in case the article is not your copyright) and select the language you have written it. and click on the copyright checkbox in order to be able to submit your article. Selecting that checkbox you admit that the article is of your own copyright.

When your article is submitted is not instantaneously posted online. Your article will be checked by our articles acceptancy committee and if meets all privacy issues and termas of use then will be accepted. In case it is rejected, at the articles listings of the management board a red point is displayed near by your article and you can read the reasons of rejection clicking on the link [Why?] A green circle means accepted and a brown circle means [Not yet examined]. Your articles after submission will be posted online after 24 hours after examination.

Can an article be other's copyright?

Worldiscovery accepts only aricles of author's copyright. You may post an article of non own copyright only if you fill in field [relative website] the source of the article (author's source) and make a note at the end of the article about the real author's information.

How can I search articles?

There are several ways in searching articles.

• Searching in all articles a certain combination of words or phrases. When you put a word(s) or a sentence in the search field in the middle of the main page then a listing of ANY type of information, in ANY topic and in ANY category will be displayed for you.
• Use the [Advanced search] or click at the [Search] icon at the bottom of the left menu to get a search engine options for advanced articles search. You may then search any type of article, any topic and any category/topic. Any article posted in a certain period or written in one or more languages. By keywords (any article which has given keywords), or an article with a certain IDnumber.
• Use the General search. At the top of the left menu there are, under the option [Search] all links of types of articles. Select a type (tip, article, free opinion, etc..) and at the opened tree select the topic you require. Clicking on that topic will be displayed the topic and a combobox of the categories of that topic. Select from the combobox a category and add some keywords you wish in the field [keywords] separated by comma. You will have listed the information as a listing with photos.
• Use the Quick search. At the top of every page there is a Quick search where you may select a type of article and add the keywords you wish. Click [Go] to get the searched articles.

When I become a top author?

When the viewbility of your articles become high enough you become a top author and your profile will be placed in the top authors listing.

How can I get articles emailed?

To get articles titles and short description in your email you have to click at the link [Email me articles] at the left menu. There yiou can select the type of information and topic you wish and send us the request. Your articles will be emailed every week till you request us by email to stop emailing you.

How can I advertise on worldiscoveries?

You have several possibilities to post your information on Worldiscoveries:

• Exchange banners with us. Then click on link ,[add url] and post your data and banner and pick our banner.
• Advertise with us. At the right column of the screen there is [Market place] and [Quick links] spaces where you can advertise placing your banner[Market place] or title and description [Quick links]. Click on Advertise here and send us your request and details.

• Add your website at the virious topics of sites listing. At the left menu, under Interesting links topic, there are various links with topics where you can post add your website. Simply click on [Add here your website]. fill in your data and that's it. Your logo and description are displayed.

If I delete my account what about my articles?

Your account is never totally deleted. Your account becomes an inactive account but your articles stay online for the visitors. If you wish to remove also your articles from our archive then simply send an email requesting removal.

How can I change my password?

At the bottom of the left menu of your account there is the link "Change password". Clicking there you can change your old password with a new one.

How can I make an article featured?

To make your article featured you can request be email and your article will be displayed at the top of the page in an articles featured gallery on the first page. To send the request please use the feedback option.
